Full Moon in Virgo: Yoga & Poetry

Under the Full Moon in Virgo and a total lunar eclipse, join us for an evening of movement and writing. Katie will lead a yoga flow to center the body and clear the mind, followed by a generative poetry session guided by Maria, using prompts inspired by the moon’s themes of order and transformation. This is a space to stretch, reflect, and create in community.

Katie Zink (she/her) is a community facilitator and creative writer in Portland, Oregon. She works in Education Publishing by trade and has been a student of yoga for over 15 years. In 2024, Katie completed 300 hours of Foundational Yoga Teacher Training and co-founded her series, Yoga for the Erotic Self.

Maria Giesbrecht is a Canadian poet whose writings explore her Mexican and Mennonite roots. Her work has previously been published in ONLY POEMS, Queen's Quarterly, Contemporary Verse 2, Talon Review, and is forthcoming in Canadian Literature. Maria is the founder and host of the writing table, Gather, and spends her days nurturing creative folks to write urgently and unafraid.
